2022 / 2023 season:
Raphael secured his first podium in the Telemark World Cup this season in Norway, the birthplace of the sport. He became the first Italian to stand on the World Cup podium there.
Another highlight was the first home race in South Tyrol on the Masaré slope in Carezza. After cancellations in France, he was able to organize a replacement race in South Tyrol together with the FIS.
The FIS Telemark World Championships, held every two years, took place this year in Mürren, Switzerland. Raphael delivered strong performances in several disciplines and finished multiple times in the top 10 at the World Championships.
Notably, in the qualification round of the parallel race, he shone with the third-fastest time and a flawless run, earning him third place. However, he narrowly missed advancing in the round of 16 during the race itself.
These successes definitely provide motivation for the next season!
